The Chic in Chicago

I was really hoping it would actually be spring today so I could wear my cute new trench.  Alas, Chicago weather rarely cooperates and today is no exception.  When can I get rid of my wool coat for the season? : /

How did I miss the memo that it was going to snow again this morning?  Thanks Chicago Weather!

I’m completely snowed in here in Chicago.  I was going to try and take a picture but since the snow is falling sideways all it was was a white blur.  If you’re wondering what this looks like just go take a look at a white sheet of paper, you’ll get the idea.

Time to snuggle down in bed with the computer and a glass of wine!

I looked out my window this morning and there was snow!  Not a ton, but enough that I’ll have to dust off my car.  I’ve lived in Chicago most of my life so you’d think I’d be used to this but really, snow April 18th?  It was 80 degrees a few weeks ago!

And what on earth does one wear for a snowy day in spring?

It was sunny for like two seconds when I work up but then the weather remembered we live in Chicago. : (

I wish I had my camera.  It is pouring rain sideways right now.  So much for my plan of hitting an outdoor bar tonight.

Seriously Chicago, where is my summer?

Today the Chicago weather is just depressing.  I managed to head out to Old Town for the art festival but it’s now doing this nasty misting thing outside and it’s COLD!  Like turn the heat back on cold.  

This is just depressing.  Was it really only Monday I was sweating my butt off?
